Press a 12-Inch Vinyl Record with a Full-Colour Disco Sleeve

The outside of the disco sleeve is printed in full colour using 4/0 printing. This allows you to display your cover artwork, logo, artist name, track information and other design elements in full colour.

Because the sleeve does not have a spine, it remains particularly slim and lightweight. This packaging option is ideal when you want to press a vinyl record and are looking for a compact, modern and cost-effective presentation.

Professional DMM Cutting for Your Vinyl Production

One of the most important stages of professional vinyl record manufacturing is cutting the vinyl master. For your production, we use high-quality DMM cutting. DMM stands for “Direct Metal Mastering”.

During the DMM process, the audio signal is cut directly into a specially coated copper disc. Unlike traditional lacquer cutting, this method removes an additional production stage. This allows the music to be transferred into the groove structure with a high level of precision.

What Are the Benefits of DMM Cutting?

  • Precise transfer of the audio signal
  • Detailed and clear sound reproduction
  • Well-defined high frequencies and transients
  • Low surface noise
  • Consistent quality throughout the pressing run
  • A professional foundation for vinyl record pressing

The DMM master is used as the basis for producing the metal stampers. These stampers are then used to press your vinyl records.

Which Audio Formats Are Required for Vinyl Manufacturing?

For your vinyl production, we require high-quality audio files in the following formats:

Accepted Audio Formats

  • File format: WAV or AIFF
  • Bit depth: 16, 24 or 32 bit
  • Sample rate: 44.1 / 48 / 88.2 / 96 / 176.4 or 192 kHz

The highest possible resolution is not always necessary. In many cases, WAV files with a resolution of 16 bit and 44.1 kHz are already completely sufficient.

The most important factor is that your files have been exported correctly and are suitable for vinyl production. After placing your order, you will receive detailed instructions containing all the information you need to prepare your vinyl master correctly.

Custom Vinyl Pressing with Colours and Special Effects

In addition to classic black vinyl, we offer a variety of colours and special design options. This allows you to press your own custom vinyl record and match its appearance to your artwork, music or brand identity.

Available Vinyl Colours and Special Effects

  • Splatter effects
  • Marble designs
  • Transparent vinyl options
  • Custom colour combinations
  • Additional special design options

Not all available special effects are displayed directly on the product page. For specific colour requests or custom designs, please contact us. We will check which options are technically possible for your chosen pressing quantity.

Please note that colour mixtures, marble designs and splatter effects may vary slightly from one record to another. These natural variations give every vinyl record a unique appearance.

Vinyl Pressing Prices for a 12-Inch Record with Disco Sleeve

Our vinyl pressing prices depend on the required quantity, playing time, vinyl colour and selected additional options.

The following factors may affect the final price:

  • Number of vinyl records
  • Black, coloured or transparent vinyl
  • Splatter, marble or other special effects
  • Additional printed materials or inserts
  • Special assembly and packaging requirements

On the product page, you can select your preferred configuration and calculate the price of your custom vinyl production.

Can I Press a Single Vinyl Record?

Many artists and vinyl enthusiasts are looking for a way to press a single vinyl record or order a one-off custom vinyl record.

Traditional vinyl pressing involves several technical production stages. These include DMM cutting, manufacturing the metal stampers, setting up the pressing machines and completing quality control. For this reason, traditional vinyl pressing is primarily designed for production runs.

Whether a single record or a very small quantity is possible depends on the selected product and manufacturing process. Contact us with your project details and we will check which production option is most suitable.
